About

A picture of me.

Hi, I'm Tina.

All my life I've been interested in everything about "how to write an engaging story". Helping authors bring out the best in their books has been one of the most enjoyable things for me to do.

So, one day I decided to make a dream a job, got a certificate in developmental editing of fiction, and now offer my editing services specializing in my favorite genres: Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Romance.

I am a Member of the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA) , the German equivalent Verband der freien Lektorinnen und Lektoren (VFLL), and Club Ed, all upholding high work ethics and ongoing professional development.

Before starting out as an editor, I've been working for 20 years as a lighting programmer at an opera house, assisting artists to bring their creative ideas to life. I've always felt good about being a supporting force in the background.

And while I was lucky enough to work in a very large theater with latest technology and huge budgets, I've always loved indie productions and smaller projects with young directors at the theater academy, offering my experience and guidance, helping them learn and grow.

So here I am, doing the same in the literary world, offering my expertise to help indie authors become better storytellers and write books that keep readers engaged.

Besides working with books, reading books and buying books, I love travelling, playing escape rooms, cooking with friends, or strolling through the woods with my editorial assistant.
